Equipment and installation details

GFCI protection helps reduce electric-shock risk; AFCI protection detects certain electrical arcing faults. We review any protection needed for the location, along with circuit capacity and control compatibility. You do not need to select these parts yourself.

New wiring and installation for a standard outlet in an accessible location.

  • Circuit and location review
  • Wiring, box, device, and cover

Work that may add to the price

  • Longer wiring routes or a circuit that needs more work
  • Difficult wall, attic, or crawlspace access
  • Special protection, dimmers, or smart controls
  • Drywall repair or other finish work

We review access, equipment, and any permit requirements for your home. The written estimate explains what is included and any additional costs.

From your first call to the final check

Three straightforward steps.

  1. 01

    Tell us what you need

You don’t need to choose a device before calling. Tell us what you want it to do. Let us know where the home is and what you want to change.

  2. 02

    Review your written estimate

We review the setup and access, then explain the equipment, work, and total. There’s no obligation to book.

  3. 03

    Schedule the installation

After you approve, we arrange the work, install the agreed equipment, and check its operation.

Before you call

A few helpful answers.

Can you help choose the right outlet or control?

Yes. Tell us where it will go and how you want to use it. We review the wiring and equipment before recommending an option.

Are kitchen and bathroom outlets different?

Some locations need additional electrical protection. We check the location and existing wiring, then specify the appropriate outlet and protection in your estimate.

Will you need to open the wall?

We can often limit openings. The route, framing, insulation, and access determine what is possible. Your estimate explains any finish-work limitations.

What about permits?

We identify any required permits and inspections in your written estimate and coordinate them as part of the agreed work.

Which areas do you serve?

We serve Sacramento and nearby communities, including Citrus Heights, Roseville, Folsom, Fair Oaks, Carmichael, Orangevale, Rocklin, and Granite Bay. Call to confirm your address.
